Endless scrolls on Tik-Tok have exposed hundreds of other adults, particularly women, who skated under the radar of diagnosis because their symptoms were not typical. My hourly color-coded planner, ability to hyperfocus and hyperattention to detail make me odd to some, superhuman to others but overall, I’d like to believe, just a badass employee. Embracing neurodiversity at work sometimes means employees require nontypical needs to work more effectively but the benefits of their unique strengths are well worth a little wiggle room. 

In recent years, the concept of neurodiversity has gained momentum as a groundbreaking approach to fostering inclusivity and innovation in the workplace. Embracing neurodiversity means recognizing and celebrating the unique strengths and perspectives of individuals with diverse neurological conditions, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and others. This paradigm shift challenges traditional norms, encouraging organizations to harness the potential of every employee, regardless of their neurotypicality. This blog explores the significance of neurodiversity at work and how it can be a competitive advantage for organizations.
