As a Senior Consultant, you will be partnering with senior leaders across a wide range of businesses to support their efforts to build effective talent management strategies as needed to achieve organizational objectives. You will be part of a broader team of consultants at TalentQuest and an even broader multi-disciplinary team of people dedicated to seeing our clients thrive.

Your day will include:

  • Direct Service Delivery and Consultation
    • Propose, design, and deliver comprehensive, impactful solutions to meet specific client needs around:
      • Succession management
      • Talent strategy
      • Organizational change
      • Performance management
      • Organizational design
      • Organizational culture
      • Career pathing and job design
    • Work with client sponsors and stakeholders to identify and present ROI data regarding services offered
    • Facilitate effective discovery conversations to surface needs and challenges our clients may be experiencing
    • Participate in design and facilitation of team training and development programs
  • Data Analytics
    • Provide consultation, administration, and execution of various organizational and human capital surveys
    • Collect, analyze, interpret, and present to clients relevant data from those surveys
  • Business Development
    • Participate in proposal development and submission
    • Identify and pursue new leads and opportunities for business expansion within current clients and with new clients
    • Collaborate with other TalentQuest resources to mine growth opportunities
    • Participate in community and professional networking opportunities as appropriate
  • Internal Subject Matter Expert
    • Act as internal resource and subject matter expert regarding best practices around talent management and organizational effectiveness strategies and processes
    • Work in collaboration with other internal SMEs to further refine products and services provided to our clients

What Do We Need from You?

  • Master’s degree (Ph.D preferred) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Design, or Organizational Effectiveness and/or MBA with strong Human Capital Focus
  • 5-7 years of experience in an external consulting role providing talent management /organizational effectiveness services
  • Technologically sophisticated, able to become familiar with the TalentQuest software suit
  • Strong statistics and statistical software proficiency, for example SPSS and R
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite
  • Experience, certification in administration and interpretation of psychometric instruments
  • Proficiency in test design and analysis
  • Experience working with senior leaders across a wide range of industries
  • Self-starter, able to operate independently as well as part of a team
  • Willing to travel up to 25% time

Of course you do! As the Application Architect, you will work with a team of software developers to ensure good architectural design and code quality, provide guidance and training to the team, and oversee the technical design process for new development. You will get to work with some of the latest web technology, too!

Your day will include:

  • Overseeing the design process for software enhancements
  • Performing design and code reviews
  • Setting code quality standards for the teams
  • Providing technical support and training for the internal & overseas teams
  • Creating technical documentation
  • Defining and owning an application architecture roadmap that keeps the product up to date on technology and security frameworks
  • Some level of database management

Solution Designer

Description

The Solution Designer (SD) plays a critical client-facing role that consults with client stakeholders to design innovative training solutions that connect TalentQuest’s capabilities to their business challenges. The SD process includes participating in business development opportunities to identify client needs, defining engaging training experience to support that need, developing the associated solution proposal and pricing inputs, and designing the corresponding curricula or courses.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to identify and document business challenges that require training solutions
  • Conduct a needs assessment to define client requirements and specifications
  • Design training solutions based an understanding of instructional theory, the diversity of learning styles, and the most appropriate delivery format
  • Provide scope, cost, and resource inputs for solution proposals, prices, and resource plans
  • Design the required curriculums or course(s) with corresponding training materials
  • Facilitate solutions through face-to-face seminars
  • Remain current on industry trends, research, and technologies for inclusion in solution designs
  • Lead continuous improvement/change efforts

Skills

  • Good commercial acumen with a fair understanding of cost, price, margin including contractual obligations and risk
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management including C-Level and Sr. Executives

Project Manager – Learning Implementations

Description

The Project Manager role is responsible for managing and coordinating training development projects for TalentQuest clients. The Project Manager will work closely with the TalentQuest teams in both the U.S. and India to solution, price, design, develop, quality control, and deliver custom training solutions. The Project Manager is involved with all aspects of assigned projects including business development support and solution implementation. For their assigned projects, they will manage the development of project related documents, such as, the statement-of-work, budget, schedule, deliverables, change orders, and risk register. During project implementation, they are responsible for managing project profitability, the project plan, quality assurance, and the customer relationship.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in capture/proposal teams
  • Draft, present and execute project related documents, such as, the statement-of-work, budget, schedule, deliverables, change orders, and risk register
  • Ensure the successful delivery of assigned projects against their budget and schedule
  • Facilitate project workflows and ensure compliance with TalentQuest policies and procedures
  • Manage geographically distributed and culturally diverse project work-groups
  • Coordinate project resources including TalentQuest staff, vendors, consultants, and client resources across one or more projects
  • Act as a communication channel with TalentQuest leadership and client stakeholders for ongoing project status and issues
  • Proactively work with TalentQuest teammates and client stakeholders to identify and resolve issues that would present a risk to on-time implementation of projects
  • Support strong business growth within the project
  • Foster strong relationships with the client stakeholders, reviewers, and approvers for the project
  • Manage the development of project related documents, such as, the statement-of-work, budget, schedule, deliverables, change orders, and risk register Build and maintain a strong customer relationship through partnering, consulting, and thought leadership
  • Work collaboratively with the TalentQuest team in India to execute the production activities within the implementation project plan
  • Manage data within technology systems used for class and student management
  • Lead continuous improvement/change efforts
  • Travel may be required, including trips to India

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of previous project management experience required, along with strong team management, business development, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing custom training projects
  • Experience in the learning/talent development industry
  • Innovative mindset with an understanding of leading-edge training solutions and approaches
  • Strategic planning and execution, critical thinking, and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, to include Project, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrated capability to influence without authority, in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent judgment and decision making
  • Ability to resolve conflict & facilitate decision-making
  • Proven ability to make complex decisions based on experience, analysis and judgment.
  • Flexible, process-oriented, organized, with excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills
  • Six Sigma and/or PMP certificate preferred

Required Education

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Will consider eight years of professional experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
