Of course you do! As a Senior Software Developer, you will play an important part on a team of developers delivering high quality enhancements and features on a large web application using some of the latest web technology. This role is for a full-stack developer who can be equally at ease in a SQL Server database as they are working on a web front-end.

Your day will include:

  • Building new features onto our existing web application
  • Modifying legacy code as necessary
  • Troubleshooting production issues
  • Fixing application defects
  • Participating in code reviews
  • Daily scrum meeting with Technical Lead and software testers
  • Mentoring and training of junior team members

As the Technical Lead, you will manage a team of developers to ensure timely delivery of high quality software projects, provide guidance and training to the team, and do some hands-on coding yourself. You will coordinate development with both US and offshore teams. You will get to work with some of the latest web technology, too!

  • Defining technical design for software enhancements
  • Task breakdown and estimation of team assignments
  • Assigning tasks to team members and overseeing their delivery and quality

Solution Designer

Description

The Solution Designer (SD) plays a critical client-facing role that consults with client stakeholders to design innovative training solutions that connect TalentQuest’s capabilities to their business challenges. The SD process includes participating in business development opportunities to identify client needs, defining engaging training experience to support that need, developing the associated solution proposal and pricing inputs, and designing the corresponding curricula or courses.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to identify and document business challenges that require training solutions
  • Conduct a needs assessment to define client requirements and specifications
  • Design training solutions based an understanding of instructional theory, the diversity of learning styles, and the most appropriate delivery format
  • Provide scope, cost, and resource inputs for solution proposals, prices, and resource plans
  • Design the required curriculums or course(s) with corresponding training materials
  • Facilitate solutions through face-to-face seminars
  • Remain current on industry trends, research, and technologies for inclusion in solution designs
  • Lead continuous improvement/change efforts

Skills

  • Good commercial acumen with a fair understanding of cost, price, margin including contractual obligations and risk
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management including C-Level and Sr. Executives
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in both written and oral formats
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational capabilities with strong analytical skills

  • 5+ years of work experience in all facets of training – assessment, design, and delivery
  • 5+ years of work experience as a field practitioner – healthcare experience a plus

Required Education

  • A graduate degree from an accredited university in a related discipline
  • Industry training/practitioner certifications
