ATLANTA / July 14, 2011 – TalentQuest, a developer and designer of talent management solutions that reflect organizational goals, culture and required skills, today announced that Dr. John Eaves, chairman of the Fulton County Commission, has joined its team as an executive consultant.

“In recent years, more and more businesses have come to recognize management skills as a key driver in fostering employee engagement which, in turn, has created increased demand for sophisticated and customized training and development solutions,” said Dr. Rick Brandt, president of TalentQuest’s consulting services. “John’s background and expertise in leadership development, executive coaching, diversity, succession planning and team building will enable us to address this increasing demand.”

“I am extraordinarily excited about starting this new chapter in my career and the opportunities it will give me to help countless emerging leaders maximize their potential,” said Dr. Eaves. “I am proud to be part of such a highly respected organization, and I look forward to helping TalentQuest clients successfully create and maintain high-performing teams.”

As chairman of the Fulton County Commission, Eaves presides over a seven-member governing commission representing 14 municipalities with and a diverse population of 1.1 million residents including the City of Atlanta. He also founded the Fulton County Global Youth Leadership program which prepares young leaders for participation in a global economy through international student exchange.

Prior to joining TalentQuest and in addition to his role as chairman of the Fulton County Commission, Eaves served as an assistant professor in the College of Education at Argosy University in Atlanta. There he taught graduate courses, including Educational Leadership, Comprehensive Planning and Implementation, Managing Change in a Diverse Society, and Critical Analysis of Issues in Education.
