ATLANTA, July 6, 2010 - TalentQuest, a human capital management and software solutions firm, today announced the release of its much-anticipated Succession Management module, creating an intersection of an individual’s performance and an organization’s potential. The new module enables organizations to track and develop high-performing and high-potential employees, effectively creating a talent pool from which they can select the best available candidate for a given position.
“In recent years, more and more organizations have come to appreciate the value of determining which competencies and characteristics will ensure success in a position,” Sessions said. “Our Succession Module takes this a step further, enabling comparison of an individual’s expertise, experience, traits and characteristics with those criteria deemed critical to success in key positions.”
The initial release features a sophisticated talent profile that captures a wealth of searchable data. In addition to the basic performance-related data that is currently available, TalentQuest clients are now able to search for candidates based on a variety of individual attributes, from educational degrees, professional certifications and association memberships, to technical skills, work history and a willingness to relocate. Individuals can be evaluated against other individuals or against a specified set of criteria.
“We are very proud to release the Succession Management module, as it is the result of countless hours of planning, development and testing,” said Neil Kimber, TalentQuest’s chief technology officer. “In addition to ensuring the solution exceeded client demands for functionality and usability, as with all of our software solutions, data security and the ability to provide various levels of access to sensitive information were made a top priority.”
“We have eagerly awaited the release of this new and incredibly powerful module, which enables business leaders to make faster and more informed talent movement and succession decisions,” Sessions said. “We look forward to continually enhancing the new offering based on our clients’ feedback and their ever-evolving needs.”
