As managing director for the Birmingham office, Kelly Schuck represents TalentQuest and its complete array of services and products within the greater southeastern area. A licensed psychologist, Kelly is responsible for developing and servicing the footprint of TalentQuest in the Alabama and Gulf Coast market, serving as the primary relationship liaison for all clients within these territories. She ensures that clients’ talent management objectives are carefully assessed and aligned with TalentQuest integrated solutions by providing a wide range of consulting services, including executive selection, executive development, succession planning and performance management solutions.
Kelly’s focus is grounded in helping companies align their overall corporate strategies with their individual people strategies to ensure that organizations are maximizing their human capital potential. She has extensive expertise in organizational development programs, facilitating online simulations, training scenario design, action learning programs, cultural competence development programs and experiential learning design – reducing the learning curve time from training to job. She also enjoys working with law firms to help them select, identify and develop high-potential associates and partners.
Kelly obtained her B.S. in business administration from the University of Alabama and her M.A. in counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She received her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Auburn University and completed her doctoral residency at Vanderbilt University. She completed a postdoctoral residency at Corporate Psychology Resources in Atlanta. Kelly has received numerous national awards in the areas of career development and group dynamics. She has authored many publications, including articles in national peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Consulting Psychology and the Journal of Career Development.
Kelly joined the TalentQuest team in 2002. Her professional experience includes more than 10 years of counseling and consulting experience in addition to owning her own business and achieving success as an entrepreneur.
When not involved in helping others with their professional development, Kelly enjoys snow skiing and playing frisbee on the beach with her dog, Logan.
