TalentQuest’s Managing Director Ann Evangelista Appointed to Atlanta Leadership Symposium Advisory Board
New dynamic leadership development program to build ‘next generation leaders’ in the greater Atlanta business community.
ATLANTA, March 30, 2010 - Dr. Ann Evangelista, Managing Director for TalentQuest’s Atlanta Consulting practice, has been selected to serve on the Advisory Board for the Atlanta Leadership Symposium (ALS). The overarching objective of the ALS is to help organizations, especially in the greater Atlanta business community, improve and accelerate the process of building the next generation of responsible leaders.
The Atlanta Leadership Symposium, offered by The University of Georgia's Terry College of Business in partnership with the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, is a six-session leadership development program that features multi-media presentations and panels with prominent executives and leading business school professors. Its mission is to equip local executives and high-potential managers with a deeper understanding of the role of leadership as it relates to executing strategy, driving innovation, managing change, and creating a positive organizational culture.
“I am thrilled to be part of a group that is so committed to building confident leaders grounded in the practicalities of today’s rapidly changing business environment,” said Dr. Ann Evangelista. “I look forward to working with this great group of colleagues to continually evaluate what skills and learnings are going to best serve our leaders of today – and tomorrow.”
Evangelista joined TalentQuest in 2003 and plays a key role in determining which integrated talent management solutions best suit client needs. She strives to help organizations create world-class leadership through rigorous and effective talent selection, management and development. Dr. Evangelista provides a wide spectrum of consultative services, with an emphasis on executive coaching.
The role of the Advisory Board is to continually identify program enhancements, enrich the participant experience, and ensure a dynamic curriculum that is on par with the latest business trends and challenges. The program curriculum offers participants the latest thinking on the subject of leadership as it relates to change, innovation, positive culture, strategy, finance, and marketing.
“Ann’s passion for developing leadership talent made her a natural choice for our Advisory Board, “ explained Dan Stotz, Director of Strategic Partnerships, The University of Georgia Terry College of Business. “She has dedicated countless personal and professional hours to rising talent, and we look forward to benefitting from her insight and energy.”
The program currently has 75 enrolled participants, who will graduate from the program with the fundamental skills to become “C-Suite Ready.” Executive panelists from leading Georgia companies includeThe Coca-Cola Company, Delta Air Lines, Home Depot, Chick-fil-A, AT&T, IBM, Cbeyond, GE, Jackson Spalding, Argus Benefits, Fraizer & Deeter, UPS and WellStar Health System.
