Kelly Schuck, Ph.D.

As Managing Director for the Birmingham office, Dr. Schuck represents TalentQuest and its complete array of services and products within the greater geographical area. She is responsible for developing and servicing the footprint of TalentQuest in the Alabama and Gulf Coast Market, and she serves as the primary relationship liaison for all clients within these territories. She ensures clients’ talent management objectives are carefully assessed and aligned with TalentQuest integrated solutions. Dr. Schuck provides a wide range of consulting services, ranging from executive selection, executive development, succession planning, and performance management solutions.
Dr. Schuck’s expertise is grounded in helping companies align their overall corporate strategies with their individual people strategies to ensure that organizations are maximizing their human capital potential. She enjoys identifying and developing a company’s high potential individuals to help both the company and the individual reach their goals, create highly effective career development plans and achieve their desired level of success. Dr. Schuck is particularly experienced in helping family owned businesses establish succession plans and work through the business issues unique to family business ownership. She also enjoys working with law firms to help them select, identify, and develop high potential associates and partners.
Dr. Schuck obtained her B.S. Degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama and her M.A. Degree in Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She received her Ph.D. from Auburn University in Counseling Psychology and completed her Doctoral Residency at Vanderbilt University. She completed a Post Doctoral Residency at Corporate Psychology Resources in Atlanta. Kelly has received a number of national awards in the areas of career development and group dynamics. She authored many publications including articles in national peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of Consulting Psychology and the Journal of Career Development.
Dr. Schuck joined the TalentQuest team in 2002. Her professional experience includes more than 10 years of counseling and consulting experience in addition to owning her own business and achieving success as an entrepreneur. When not involved in helping others with their professional development, Kelly enjoys flying, snow skiing, and playing frisbee on the beach with her dog, Logan.
