TalentQuest Expands Southeastern Footprint with Addition of Satellite Offices
Alabama and Florida presence to offer greater flexibility in serving geographically diverse clients.
ATLANTA, September 2, 2008 - TalentQuest, a human capital management consulting and software solutions firm, today announced that it has expanded its presence in the Southeast with the addition of satellite offices in Birmingham, Ala. and Tampa, Fla.
Dr. Gena Cox and Dr. Kelly Shuck have been named managing directors of TalentQuest's new Tampa and Birmingham satellite offices, respectively. They will focus on providing comprehensive talent management services including performance management, succession planning, executive coaching and leadership development to a wide-variety of businesses and non-profit organizations throughout the areas.
"The talent management industry has evolved and expanded rapidly in recent years as more and more organizations have come to realize that people are one of their most valuable assets," stated Dr. Frank Merritt, chief executive officer of TalentQuest.
TalentQuest has successfully capitalized on opportunities created by this rapid growth, thanks in part to the organization's flexibility and awareness of market demand and customer needs. The organization has continually modified its service offering in step with the industry's evolution, from simply providing traditional consulting services to offering a fully integrated, comprehensive talent management offering that combines consulting services with innovative software solutions.
An expanded footprint will help TalentQuest ensure that the organization is well positioned to continue to capitalize on growth opportunities and evolve with an ever-changing industry.
"Most importantly," Merritt added, "having satellite offices in Birmingham and Tampa will enable us to maintain the high-level of service and support that our geographically diverse clients have come to expect from us."
Alabama Leadership
Dr. Kelly Shuck worked with TalentQuest in Atlanta, Ga. from 2005 to 2008. As a human capital management consultant, she focused on executive coaching and development, succession planning, assessments, organizational development, teambuilding and leadership skills training. She continued to work with the firm on a part-time, adjunct basis following her relocation to Birmingham, Ala. Dr. Schuck earned a bachelor of science from the University of Alabama and a Ph.D. from Auburn University.
Florida Leadership
Prior to joining TalentQuest, Dr. Gena Cox served as an executive consultant with the Human Capital Resource Center in Tampa. Prior to that, she served as vice president of assessment and selection with Raymond James. She earned a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational psychology from the University of South Florida.
Cox and Schuck cited TalentQuest's willingness to go beyond traditional industrial, organizational and management psychology boundaries to create an integrated talent management offering as a key point of differentiation. Both stated that they believed there existed significant opportunities in their respective territories for this unique offering.
In another reflection of the firm's rapid growth, TalentQuest was recently selected for Inc. Magazine's 2008 Inc. 5000 list, for the second consecutive year. The annual list of American entrepreneurs ranked the firm among the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.
